iStylist Makeover has quickly become the best selling virtual makeover application for Apple iPhone and iPod touch and has been ranked as high as #5 on the Apple iTunes App Store.

How We Built It

We developed iStylist Makeover from scratch in-house. Starting with the concept and wireframes, we developed a functioning prototype using the iPhone SDK and ASP.NET backend. An agile process allowed us to add functionality incrementally and build out the application in several iterations, also providing an opportunity to respond to user feedback.

To overcome limitations with the built-in email APIs, we created a custom web service for email queuing and templating. Facebook integration was also added in a subsequent update.
